be coded a 1, the student must have a C & T class in
their schedule on the snapshot date

for those students who are taking a C & T course on
an elective basis only

- Participant in a coherent sequence of C & T courses program
that are not state approved as a Tech Prep program
- This
is a student who is enrolled in a sequential course of study,
which develops occupational knowledge, skills, and competencies
relating to a career concentration
- Student
should have a 4-year plan of study to take 2 or more C &
T courses for 3 or more credits
- Must
be enrolled in, or have completed a semester of C &
T courses which are part of their C & T coherent sequence
of courses

- Participant in a Tech Prep Program
- Indicates
that the student in grades 9 - 12 follows a state-approved
Tech Prep high school plan of study that includes at least
one option for dual or articulated credit (either statewide
or local.)
- The
student should have a 4-year plan of study that includes
2 or more C & T courses for 3 or more credits.
- Must
be enrolled in, or have completed a semester of C &
T course(s) which are a part of the C & T coherent sequence
of courses. The course the student is enrolled in DOES NOT
have to be an articulated course.
